FAQ

CAN YOU GIVE ME A DEFINITION OF COACHING?

I like this one:

“Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.”
– John Whitmore.

I belong to the ICF and you’ll find more information on coaching here.

WHAT ARE YOUR PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS?

I have a Professional Certificate in Coaching Skills from Coaching Development and have been practicing as a coach since 2008. I am a member of the ICF, the professional body that accredited my coaching qualification. I adhere to their code of ethics and professional standards, which includes client confidentiality.

I’m in regular supervision and have appropriate insurance. I believe in continuous improvement and have just spent eighteen months working with a mentor coach to develop my coaching skills.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?

Corporate fees are agreed with the individual and/or sponsor at the beginning of the contract. They are in line with executive coaching fees at senior leadership and director level.

For people paying independently, I have lower rates. I have limited availability for private individuals. Additional costs include travel and venue hire which are charged at cost.

will you meet with my sponsor?

Absolutely. As part of any corporate contract, meetings and review points with your coaching sponsor will be integral to ensure we’re all in agreement on what the coaching needs to focus on and why.

ARE YOU A ONE-WOMAN BAND?

I am lucky to have brilliant colleagues who I collaborate and partner with regularly, and will happily recommend one if you feel I’m not the right fit for you.

Alongside my own practice, I work with coaching and training organisations who I admire and respect. My experience with them plays a significant part in my growth as a coach and facilitator.

where are you based?

I am based in North London. I also travel nationally and internationally. If face-to-face isn’t an option, I coach on Skype/Zoom and over the phone.
